Mohlabetsi Conservancy, LImpopo

The Mohlabestis Conservancy is situated on the western border of the greater Kruger National park just outside the town of Hoedspruit. The Conservancy offers a breathe taking experience of beautiful bush veld with the most amazing views of the Drakensburg Moutains. There are two seasonal rivers which flow through the area, one of them from which the conservancy got its name, Mohlabetsi or “sweet waters”.The rivers attrack a wide diversity of wildlife and bird life. This advantage creates a bigger chance of spotting: white rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, eland and nyala.

With the game drives and walks through the revine habitat, open grass land and mixed woodland visitors are sure to realize that Mohlabetsi Conservancy is a bush veld wonderland filled with a treasure trove of animal sights and sounds. You will find weeping boer-bean and other shade trees lining the water holes and river beds, which evoke an element of mysticism to the sunrises and sunsets.
