One of the jewels in Limpopo Province's crown, as those who have not already done so, but might care to, will surely discover, is the Pietersburg Club. This well-known and much loved institution was founded in 1902 and has served the region and it's home city of Polokwane as a hub for the social and business elite for over 100 years. The Club is situated within walking distance of the Peter Mokaba World Cup football staduim.

The present Club buildings were erected in 1990 when the Club traded it's original premises in the centre of the City for one in a more sedate and relaxed part of Polokwane. The elegant Victorian style buildings which were built to house the Club at its new site, boast wide open verandas typical of the gracious and sensible architecture of the colonial era in which the Club had it's beginnings. These cool, restful and comfortably furnished areas provide the ideal venue for members and invited guests to enjoy those relaxing cold sundowners after long tiring days.

Set in fully secured and delightfully gardened surrounds, the Club offers overnight accommodation in 23 well appointed double, en-suite rooms and one spacious and very tastefully decorated and furnished "Presidential Suite". Ample secure and conveniently located parking facilities complete the picture of comfort and convenience on offer by the Pietersburg Club, both for busy business people as well as those simply seeking overnight "harbour", perhaps as part of a non-business related visit to our beautiful Province.
