Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is a higher education institution in South Africa. It comprises of up to six well-equipped satellite campuses positioned well to meet the higher education needs of different communities in South Africa. These campuses include Pretoria West (Pretoria Campus), Soshanguve, Ga-Rankuwa, Witbank, Nelspruit and Polokwane. Two faculties, namely the Faculties of Natural Sciences and Arts, have dedicated campuses in the Pretoria city centre.
Tshwane University of Technology consists of eleven faculties and one institute.
Degree and diploma courses are on offer, including advanced degrees at master's and doctorate level, providing career-focused education in fields of study ranging from health sciences to social and economic sciences, engineering, agriculture, tourism, education, languages and the arts. Some courses are unique to Tshwane University of Technology. These include international communication, sport and exercise technology, equine studies, medical orthotics and prosthetics and environmental management.
