Kololo Game Reserve, Limpopo

The 3000 hectare Kololo Game Reserve, is situated in the heart of the vast Waterberg Biosphere. Consisting of untouched African bush. Open savannah grass plains, thick bush veld, mountains and valleys. Kololo supports a large variety of the common plains game species such as impala, kudu, rooi hartebeest, blue wildebeest, zebra, eland, nyala, waterbuck, giraffe, bles buck and bushbuck as well as smaller species such as duiker, mountain reedbuck, klipspringer, steenbok, bush pig and warthog. To the delight of bird watchers, there are over 300 species of birds, indigenous to the area.

84 different species of trees are listed amongst the 500 species of plant recorded, hence the huge variety of birds and animals. Kololo borders on the Big 5 Welgevonden where you can experience these magnificent animals. Waterberg gets its name from the huge amount of water that is held and released in the rainy seasons, driving the ecology into paradise.

Kololo’s superb restaurant facility is ideal for the smaller breakaway conference groups of up to 40. Kololo is the ideal venue for an authentic African Safari themed wedding or special event. The restaurant is available for wedding receptions and can accommodate up to 90 guests seated in the restaurant and on the look-out decks. Full catering and bar service available.
