Bordering the Timbavati Game Reserve and Kruger National Park, the Klaserie Game Reserve reserve is hot and dry for most of the year. The bush is sparse but soon recovers, if and when summer rains arrive. Wildlife wanders freely over vast areas and you are likely to see all the usual animals of the African bush including lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and many antelope.
The Klaserie reserve lies to the west of Timbavati covering 60 000 ha on either side of the Klaserie River. The private nature of this wilderness sanctuary enables one to embrace the African bushveld in one's own time - to take in the sounds, sights and smells that make the bushveld such a unique experience.
